Texas Card House Security Guard Wounded Yet Thwarts Armed Robbery Attempt, Saves Lives

The Texas Card House in Spring, located to the north of Houston, witnessed an unfortunate incident in the early hours of Thursday, where a security guard was shot multiple times but bravely defended the club, its employees, and patrons against an armed robbery attempt. He has been admitted to the hospital with seven gunshot wounds.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzales, in a conversation with local media, confirmed that deputies were summoned to the scene in response to a report of a shooting at around 6:00 am. The club is situated a few miles north of Houston in the suburban area.

Upon their arrival, the deputies discovered Officer Jackson, the injured security guard, who had faced an ambush from several attackers. Despite being shot at, Jackson retaliated with his own gunfire, causing the attackers to scatter. Eyewitness accounts suggested a heavy exchange of gunfire involving numerous rounds.

Miraculously, all seven gunshot injuries sustained by Officer Jackson were not life-threatening. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical attention. As of now, it’s unclear whether Jackson’s return fire hit any of the assailants, all of whom remain unidentified.
