He has been admitted to the hospital with seven gunshot wounds. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzales, in a conversation with local media, confirmed that deputies were summoned to the scene in response to a report of a shooting at around 6:00 am. The club is situated a few miles north of Houston in the suburban area. Upon their arrival, the deputies discovered Officer Jackson, the injured security guard, who had faced an ambush from several attackers. Despite being shot at, Jackson retaliated with his own gunfire, causing the attackers to scatter. Eyewitness accounts suggested a heavy exchange of gunfire involving numerous rounds. Miraculously, all seven gunshot injuries sustained by Officer Jackson were not life-threatening. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical attention. As of now, it’s unclear whether Jackson’s return fire hit any of the assailants, all of whom remain unidentified.
