Hanoi Gears Up for APT’s Record-Breaking $1M Poker Extravaganza this December

As the poker world turns its eyes towards the East, the Asia Poker Tour (APT) in partnership with Natural8 is set to dazzle the community with its whopping $1 million-guaranteed showdown, dubbed the APT Hanoi Billions 2023. This grand spectacle will coincide with the renowned Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP) and is scheduled to unfold at the esteemed Hanoi National Convention Center (NCC) from December 1-10.

The crown jewel of the series, the Main Event, boasts an impressive VND 25 billion (approximately $1M) guaranteed prize pool with participants securing their spots at a buy-in of VND 36M (around $1,500). In total, players will be vying for a staggering VND 60 billion ($2.5M) across all events.

VSOP’s chief, Terry Nguyen, enthused, “The APT Hanoi Billions promises to etch a new chapter in Vietnam’s poker chronicles. What better venue than the NCC, a place synonymous with Vietnam’s significant happenings, to script this history?”

Kicking off the grandeur is the VND 12M APT Inaugural on December 1. The following day will see the VND 15M Mystery Millions, backed by Natural8, taking center stage.

For the elite grinders seeking to compete at loftier levels, the APT Hanoi Billions 2023 has a sumptuous spread: the VND 120M APT Super High Roller – 8 Max, the monumental VND 250M Superstar Showdown, and the VND 80M APT Elite High Roller.

Not to be missed are other marquee events like the VND 10M Sunday Super Stack on December 3 and the VND 12M Miniature Main Event spanning December 9 and 10. Furthermore, the series will be a veritable poker feast, encompassing an assortment of games from mixed versions to pot-limit Omaha, the evergreen No Limit Hold’em, and daily high stakes challenges.
